As your Extended Care Director, I personally oversee our Program to ensure that not only does it meet the goals and expectations set out in our Policies, it also meets or exceeds the state rules that govern all child care centers. I have worked at MOQ Extended Care for 8 years and I have been the director for 6.   

I have been dedicated to childcare and education from a young age.   I have 23 nieces and nephews, so I have babysat for years. I worked at Westside high school for 5 years. I have been married for 19 years, I have 4 teenagers (3 boys and 1 girl) who are all MOQ alumni and will be alumni. 

We have been members of MOQ parish for 18 years. I love going on vacation with my family, and exploring all the local hides, foods, and culture. Running and lifting are two of my favorite daily routines.   One of my most favorite parts of directing Extended Care is hearing all the funny things that the kids say.

Ashley Rosenthal is both our amazing assistant director and a teacher assistant at MOQ. This will be her 4th year at Extended Care and her 2nd year as the JR High Teacher Assistant. 

Ashley has extensive childcare background including working for 5 years at Westside High School in the special education classroom.  She has been babysitting for 12 years and also has taught swim lessons for 10 years.  Ashley has many years of experience working with children and is always working to expand her knowledge in child development and education.  She is currently working towards a degree in Behavioral Health Science and then plans to pursue a Masters in Education.

When she is not at work,  Ashley loves to spend time with my family. Her destresser after work is the gym and loves to be outside with my friends as much as possible and enjoying the beautiful world God blessed us with. Her favorite thing about  MOQ Extended Care is when the kids are excited to show me their accomplishments! When they come in with an A+ paper or their favorite art project or even a new toy that they got for their birthday, my heart is overflowing with happiness and joy for them.

The After School Program provides a home-like atmosphere in which there is time for imaginative play, games, arts and crafts, gym and homework. We also occasionally plan for special events and enrichment programs.
