Begin Your Child’s Education Journey With Us

We hope to nurture students’ awareness of God’s love and provide experiences that deepen the joy found in exploring the wonders of the world created by our loving God.

Our Early Childhood Education programs offer families a variety of choices designed to meet the unique needs of each student and family. We know preschool children must learn through playful interaction with their environment, and our facility is designed to encourage collaboration, imaginary play, movement, and exploration for young learners.

Mary Our Queen Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten programs use the Nebraska Department of Education Early Childhood Learning Guidelines and the Omaha Archdiocese Preschool Curriculum as their foundation.

Additionally, our programs incorporate the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd into the weekly religion lessons. The curriculum contributes to all aspects of the child’s physical, social, emotional, spiritual, and cognitive development.

Come and experience what a warm and supportive Catholic community can offer your family. We are excited to offer the following preschool and Pre-Kindergarten options.

Our Preschool Programs

The two-, three- and five-day MOQ Preschool programs provide students the proper balance of developmental activities and academic learning within a faith-filled and play-centered environment. Early Childhood endorsed and experienced teachers personalize learning for students with a focus on developing social and emotional skills, confidence, and a love of learning. The Preschool programs are designed for students 3 and 4 years of age who will not be eligible to attend kindergarten in the 2024-25 school year. MOQ Preschool creates lifelong learners by nurturing creativity, imagination, and curiosity.

Why Choose MOQ Early Education Programs?

MOQ School is accredited by the state of Nebraska as well as Cognia, an advanced accreditation program. We nurture the spiritual, social, and intellectual growth of our young learners through engaging learning experiences guided by our knowledgeable and dedicated teaching staff.

Our preschool programs are led by talented teachers.  Our Early childhood-endorsed teachers create hands-on learning experiences that deepen a child’s confidence while developing kindergarten readiness skills through play and a focus on specific academic goals. Our school also provides onsite counselors and learning specialists.

Our new Preschool building has its own atrium specifically prepared for the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd program. Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is a Montessori-based faith formation curriculum for children ages 3-6. Lessons in the atrium are designed to awaken religious wonder and contemplation in the child while giving him or her a strong foundation in the Bible and Catholic liturgical practices. Each child will participate in daily prayers, such as “Our Father”, “Hail Mary”, “Holy Mary”, “Glory Be”, “Angel of God”, and “Meal Prayers”. Students will reflect daily about the world around them and understand God’s creations and love for them.

Our preschool programs are designed with options for families. Enroll your child in our program for up to five days per week or as few as two days. Children may attend half days or full days. There is also Extended Care for before and after school. The MOQ Extended Care program offers flexible, dependable, and nurturing before and after-school childcare for students. A Lunch program is also provided.

From Our Families

MOQ is a community and family rooted in helping raise men and women for and with others. Everyone shares in these kids’ successes and celebrates the major accomplishments of each child. It’s a breath of fresh air how much everyone cares about one another from teachers to staff to parents and peers. This is a great place to raise kids who are part of a greater community caring for others.
