Building Community

We strive to promote a family-oriented atmosphere at our school, where our students feel at home in the classroom, on the playground, in the lunchroom, or participating in extracurricular activities.

Student life at MOQ is vibrant, exciting, energetic, and faith-filled.

Student Life

An education at MOQ is focused on the whole child. In addition to strong academics and developing faith, a rich variety of offerings provide students the opportunity to expand their learning beyond the textbook. MOQ has more than 20 groups and clubs that offer students the opportunity to develop leadership skills, develop and grow in areas of interest. They are mentored by and are mentors to students of other ages. Students fine-tune their relationship skills and learn how to communicate by listening and asking questions. Clubs, activities, and sports are a significant element of student life at Mary Our Queen Catholic School.

Nurturing the Whole Child

Mary Our Queen Catholic School recognizes that participation in support programs, such as extra-curricular activities, affects a student’s academic performance. The majority of our students participate in our extra-curricular activities.

Feels like Family

Older classes regularly buddy up with younger classes for projects, experiments, field trips, and camaraderie. Our elementary schoolers look up to the middle schoolers, emulate them, and await the day that they, too, can be the school leaders.

Being part of a preschool through eighth school allows our older students to be examples and leaders for our younger grades. School-wide events like Mass, morning prayer, and spirit rallies unite students of all ages.

The buddies meet one-on-one at least once a month to read together, do a craft, and visit. The younger students love to see their buddies, and the older students take their buddy responsibilities very seriously.

From Our Families

I am a parent of three students at MOQ. I couldn’t be more pleased with the social, academic, emotional, and religious development offered to the children within! My children are challenged daily by the current curriculum trends in education. The teachers nurture the students toward excellence while implementing critical thinking skills. The facility is updated with the latest technological advancements as well. I feel my children are happy, well prepared and are receiving a strong foundation enabling them to pursue a future at any leading high school in the area.
