As an integral part of our school community, the Home & School Association plays a vital role in fostering a collaborative partnership between parents, teachers, and administrators.

Our Mission

The Home and School Association exists as a volunteer organization. Our mission is to enhance Catholic education and to foster spiritual growth of the Mary Our Queen school community by:

  • Facilitating communication between home and school.
  • Strengthening school unity and promoting school spirit through organized activities and various projects.
  • Sharing our time, talent and treasure to support the Mary Our Queen administration, teachers and staff.
  • Instilling appreciation for Catholic education and the Catholic faith.

The Home and School Association will strive to accomplish this mission with ongoing communication, and through the building of partnerships with our school families, Mary Our Queen administration, and the Parish Council.

What We Do

The MOQ Home & School Association organizes various events and initiatives throughout the school year to enhance the educational experience and sense of community within our school. Some of our activities include:

  1. Teacher Appreciation, Wonderful Wednesdays, Apple Trees, Back to School Night, and more: We host fun-filled activities that support our students and school staff.
  2. Fundraising Events: Through fundraising initiatives such as Mustang March and Raise Right, and we raise funds to support school programs, projects, and initiatives.
  3. Volunteer Opportunities: We provide parents with opportunities to volunteer in classrooms, school events, and fundraisers, allowing them to play an active role in their child’s education.

We welcome all parents to get involved in the MOQ Home & School Parent Association! Whether you have a little time to spare or want to take on a leadership role, there are plenty of opportunities to contribute and make a difference. By joining the MOQ Home & School, you’ll have the chance to connect with other parents, support our school community, and play an active role in your child’s education.

To learn more about getting involved or upcoming events, please reach out to our President, Jenny Dillingham or incoming President, Danielle Selzle, or join us at one of our monthly meetings held every second Monday evening during the school year. We eagerly anticipate partnering with you to cultivate a lively and supportive school community at Mary Our Queen Catholic Elementary School!

We ask for the continued support of Mary Our Queen, our Mother, to intercede for us through her Son, Jesus Christ.
