Letter from Principal Maureen Hoy

Dear Friends,

Welcome to Mary Our Queen Catholic School. For nearly 60 years, we have partnered with parents to provide students with an academically rigorous curriculum and a strong spiritual foundation rooted in our Catholic faith. Our motto, “Where Faith and Knowledge Meet,” encompasses our mission to provide our students opportunities to grow in intellect, faith, and service to become faith-filled leaders of tomorrow.

We believe in educating the whole child through a curriculum enriched in our faith values. This is only possible through the relationships and support of our parishioners, school families, and our amazing team of dedicated faculty and staff. Together, we enrich the lives of over 600 students ranging from preschool through 8th grade and prepare them to lead lives aligned with our mission and vision.

The traditions of the Catholic faith, including daily prayer, scripture study, and following the examples of the lives of the Saints, are integral parts of our students’ experiences at school. Our curriculum is written by the Archdiocese of Omaha and based on the Nebraska Department of Education state standards. It is an enriched curriculum, infused with Gospel values across all subject areas. We embrace opportunities to put our faith into action through a variety of service projects each year.

Our vibrant school and parish community stand on strong, rich traditions as we look to our bright future. Mary Our Queen Catholic School is a special place! Sometimes referred to as a “hidden gem,” MOQ is a unique and wonderful environment for a child’s education and growth. The school culture encourages a lifelong love of learning, respect for others, and self-discipline. I invite you to learn more about our school by exploring our website and scheduling a time to visit.

God Bless,

Maureen Hoy, Principal

Where Faith and Knowledge Meet

Mary Our Queen Catholic School is committed to providing excellent education in a faith-filled environment. The highest standards are set to achieve the best academic performance from our students. We understand that students bring diverse needs into our classrooms and we hold steadfast to high expectations and standards for all of our students.

Our teachers, with the support of teaching assistants, use differentiated instructional techniques at each grade level to ensure the success of each student. In addition to strong academics, students grow in their understanding and experience of the Catholic faith. We partner with parents to nurture our students’ love for learning, foster their spiritual growth, and prepare them for high school, college, and beyond.
